Distribution truck driver CE - Night shift

Job description

As a Night CE Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out regular night routes from a distribution centre (DC) in the Netherlands. You will transport goods to and from different distribution centres of the same customer, located across Belgium.

You will depart from the DC in the Netherlands in the evening or at night and follow a predefined schedule to one DC in Belgium. There, you will deliver goods and/or load goods for the return journey. You will then return to the distribution centre in the Netherlands.

What do we expect from you?

• Safely and punctually carrying out night-time transport operations.
• Loading, unloading and checking goods and transport documents.
• Correctly following the assigned schedule and transport instructions.
• Ensuring accurate administrative processing of transport assignments.
• Communicating with the planning team and contacts at the various locations.
• Taking good care of the vehicle, goods and equipment.
• Reporting any deviations, damage or delays.

What do you bring to the table?

• You hold a valid CE driving licence and Code 95 qualification.
• You have experience as a truck driver and are comfortable driving at night.
• You work independently, accurately and responsibly.
• You are customer-oriented and communicate clearly.
• You have a good knowledge of Belgian roads.
• You are flexible and enjoy working according to a clear and consistent schedule.
